About

Hi! I’m Robin- wife, mother, friend, teacher, and facilitator.

For the past 16 years I’ve spent most of my time with little ones ranging in age from 3-7 years old while teaching kindergarten, first grade, and pre-K. I’ve had a lot of experience teaching children beginning reading, math, motor and language skills by focusing on how kids learn- through play, conversation, child-led exploration, and innocent curiosity.

When I had my first child in 2012 I started to realize that many parents and teachers want what’s best for their kids, but aren’t always sure what that means. Many times they don’t believe that their children are learning unless they have a set curriculum, are doing workbooks or flashcards, or enrolling them at the most rigorous preschools.

My goal is to bring awareness to both parents and educators that children learn when the adults take a step back, make observations about their surroundings, and have fun with their kids. It’s then that we are teaching the very way kids learn.

It’s time to take some pressure off of our children and ourselves…let’s learn and have fun in the everyday!
